What Happens on the Day
Because I come to your home, you'll find that the session is really relaxed and enjoyable and that the images will be far more personal to you than if they were taken at an unfamiliar studio location. I also know that you'll be impatient to see the results, so will do my very best to have your gallery live within two weeks.
Baby & Newborn Photography
For tiny ones, I work around you and your family in your home to create beautiful photographs of your baby that you'll love. Each baby is unique and I will capture those special characteristics for you in your images. The session will take 1-2 hours, and this includes some extra time should anyone need feeding, changing or is not initially in the best mood to be photographed!
Newborn photography is best done in the first few weeks if possible, so I recommend that you contact me whilst pregnant to schedule a session in and we can work around your due date.
Child Photography
For older children I work on location or at your home, using the natural surroundings as a backdrop. If there is a special or familar place with some meaning for your family nearby then let me know, and we can work that in to the session.
After the shoot I carefully edit the images and select the best ones to further enhance. This will give you a min of 40-50 final images in a personal web gallery from which you and your family can make your selections.
